Yesterday we had a birthday pizza party for my grandma in Boulder. My brother was there and my aunt and my other aunt and my uncle and their kids (my cousins).
My cousins, Jake and C.C., are two of the sweetest, most well behaved children I know. C.C. has a crush on my husband and follows him around and listens to everything he says (he even got her to eat all of her salad last night).
Seeing him interact with her makes me so excited for him to be a dad. He's going to be so great.
When we were all saying our goodbyes someone asked C.C. if she had said goodbye to baby Ray. She walked right over and hugged my belly and said 'goodbye sweet baby ray'.
I melted.
Somedays I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful family.
